The progesterone test is used to help identify and manage certain causes of infertility. Can also be valuable in diagnosing an early failing pregnancy, or evaluating fetal health during a high-risk pregnancy.

Patient Preparation: Discontinue any supplements containing Biotin for 72 hours prior to specimen collection.
