Growth Hormone is a pituitary function test that is used in the diagnosis hypopituitarism and ectopic growth hormone production among others. It is also used to detect excess levels of Growth Hormone.
Patient Preparation: Patient should fast for 12 hours prior to specimen collection. Discontinue any supplements containing Biotin for 72 hours prior to specimen collection.
