Meet Dr. Lloyd Fielder
Dr. Lloyd Fielder is a practicing chiropractor who has been in the northwest suburbs of Chicago since December of 1995. Dr. Fielder owned and operated his own practice in Schaumburg right out of school until selling it to Dr. Joseph Mercola in 2007.
Dr. Fielder served as clinic director of Dr. Mercola’s Natural Health Clinic while remaining in practice until joining The Oasis Center for Health in Hinsdale, IL. There he worked alongside MD’s and DO’s in a truly integrative practice specializing in people with chronic disease and chronic pain.
Currently Dr. Fielder is in the NW Suburbs of Chicago practicing Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Functional Medicine. His primary focus and passion continues to be providing specialty testing and intervention for basic body system dysfunction and overall good health. Nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle guidance remain his gold standard for people looking to improve the quality of their lives.

Adrenocortex Stress Profile
- The Adrenocortex Stress Profile (ASP) provides an assessment of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis using carefully timed salivary samples of the hormones cortisol and DHEA. Salivary testing is an easy, non-invasive option to measure unbound, biologically active parent hormone levels.
- Daily hassles, chronic pain, blood sugar dysregulation, work stressors, and poor relationship quality can alter the HPA axis. Imbalances in adrenal hormones can have a wide range of negative consequences that can adversely impact a patient's overall quality of life. The symptoms of HPA axis dysfunction can be vague and are highly variable but may include: fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, depression, GI complaints, and chronic pain.
